Professional, Person-Centred NDIS Services.

We are delighted to introduce Building on Ability Pty Ltd, a NDIS provider dedicated to supporting participants across the Blue Mountains region. As a team, we are passionate about delivering professional, person-centred NDIS services tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Building on Ability Pty Ltd draws on extensive experience working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and disabilities, people experiencing mental health issues, anxiety and trauma. We offer a compassionate, evidence-based approach with an emphasis on trauma informed care. Our organisation is proud to be LGBTQIA+ friendly, fostering a welcoming environment where all are respected and supported.

Our leadership team is comprised of two dedicated directors who have been living in the Blue Mountains for over 30 years:

• Anne Kocek: With decades of experience as a social worker and a qualified trainer, Anne brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to empowering individuals through skill-building and holistic support.

• Tom Engel: Tom has a background as a support worker and has recently been delivering full time care to a high-intensity participant, further honing his expertise in delivering responsive, tailored care.

At Building on Ability, our mission is to provide exceptional NDIS services, founded on professionalism, empathy, and respect for every participant’s journey. We believe in building genuine connections and working collaboratively with participants, families, and the wider community.
